Dear Friend,
Today Our Lord and Holy Mother Church remind us of our end here on earth. What comes before the final judgment is a frightening thing to behold (Especially for unrepentant sinners). And this fearful thought should be a constant reminder to us of how evil sin is, and remind us to be ever vigilant in avoiding not only sin but even the occasions of sin where we might be tempted.
When you shall see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place. . .
This appears to be the greatest of sins _ the abomination . . . standing in the holy place. Our first thoughts go to all of our churches _ those places built for the offering of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and for the greater honor and glory of God. What are these places today? They have become houses of men rather than houses of God. The tabernacles have been pushed aside and the praise of men has filled the sermons, "prayers", and song in these places. All are welcomed into these places, including unrepentant sinners. In fact they make a special effort to "apologize" to all those unrepentant sinners who have left and ask them to come back not as penitents, but just as they are and unite themselves with others in the reception of their "Eucharist". The adulterers, fornicators, sodomizers, etc. are all welcome, not to change mind you, but just as they are. They preach that God loves them just the way that they are.
This is NOT the doctrine that Jesus Christ has taught us. He tells us that sinners must repent of their sins and lead virtuous lives. Only those who have cleansed themselves from sin (at least all mortal sin) are worthy to be united to Him in Holy Communion.
If we just consider this one aspect we see that truly there is an abomination standing in what were once holy places. But, there is more. With the change in the form of the sacraments the Modernists (Novus Ordo) have invalidated the very source of these necessary graces. There are men who are not true priests because of invalid "ordinations" that are standing in these holy places not only pretending to speak in the name of Christ but even presenting themselves as another Christ all while they teach things contrary to Christ. But, then they continue on and apparently consecrate their hosts and expose the people to idolatry. In fact the doctrines that are being taught are not the doctrines of Christ but the doctrines of Satan, the prayers and songs that are offered can only please Satan, and the leaders in all this are not disciples and apostles of Christ but disciples and apostles of Satan and/or the anti-Christ. (More abomination in the Holy Place!)
We can see these once beautiful and holy places built by Catholic hands with Catholic funds and sacrifices (Including those in Rome), now in the hands of heretics who are students of none other than the devils; We can see the holy and sacred pushed aside to make way for the worldly and profane; We see impostors teaching an easy and comfortable way for all who will follow them right into the depths of Hell; We see Christ and His Sacrifice mutilated, denied and set aside and yet, I must say this is not the greatest abomination.
The greatest abomination is that which is taking place within the souls of almost every one in the world today. These churches were built by the hands of men, but the souls of men were created by none other than God. We have been created in the image and likeness of God. We are temples of the Holy Ghost. We are the Holy of Holies and yet as we look with unpassioned eyes around us we see that the majority have become an abomination.
How many, have abused and mutilated their bodies (temples) (With tattoos, piercings, etc.)? How many adorn their bodies (With makeup, jewelry, clothing _ or the lack thereof.) with the intent to entice or seduce rather than to honor God? How many watch what they eat lest they desecrate this temple? (Do they bless their food?) How many pay attention to what they look at and listen to lest they allow some evil to enter their temple and defile it? How many engage in and promote the vilest abuses of their bodies in adultery, fornication, incest, sodomy, abortion, etc.?
We see this abomination in the majority, and they are not just poor sinners who have fallen prey to the snares of the devils, but they are open promoters of the evil abomination of their bodies. The sin is pardonable if they are repentant, but most rather try to justify their abominations and present them to the world as virtue, or to excuse themselves and blasphemously claim that God is the author of their perversity. They seek secular legalization and acceptance of these abominations and thus earn the punishment of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Let us take heed so that we do not end up in these desecrated churches or in a desecrated body when Our Lord returns.
